2026 Vision

As a church, we are called to carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, and our mission statement was created to capture both of these critical mandates.

From June through August, we will move into a season of evangelistic preaching. Having been grounded in the gospel through Romans, which we studies previously, we will turn outward—proclaiming the good news of Christ with clarity and compassion. The gospel that transforms us inwardly also sends us outwardly, calling us to bear witness to Christ in word and deed. As summer brings visitors, seekers, and unchurched friends among us to the beautiful Greenwich we will be intentional in preaching Christ plainly—so that many might hear, believe, and be saved.

In the autumn months, from September through December, we will walk through the Minor Prophets—Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah.” These books teach us to trust the Lord’s justice, rest in His sovereignty, hope in His promises even in times of uncertainty and ultimately, that His purposes will stand, for the good of His people and the glory of His name.

Throughout the year, on the first Sunday of each month, we will turn to the book of Malachi on our Lord’s Supper (Communion) Sundays. Malachi calls God’s people to faithful worship, covenant faithfulness, and wholehearted service.”

Each month, as we come to the Table, we will be invited to examine our hearts, renew our repentance, and rest again in the grace of Christ.”

Our Story

We believe we were made for community. Our desire is that you won’t just experience a church service, but will also receive deep spiritual teaching, get to know your Bible and be grow to be more like the Lord Jesus and do life with others.

Our story begins in late 2017 when it was decided that a new church was needed in West Greenwich. Previously, there had been a congregation meeting in the area under the name Devonshire Drive Baptist Church. That church decided to officially close its doors after 175yrs of ministry. Grace Baptist Association (AGSE) approached the Rigneys to consider starting a new work at the previous location. The first few months were spent praying that Jesus would begin to build his church. Not long after, they held their first meeting in the Autumn of 2017. Rodrigo joined the team as the worship leader just a month after the first meeting, now two years later he is the lead pastor.  Since then, our community has slowly grown. We have started to build a strong team and look forward to what is to come.
